Jelle Brouwer finished his bachelor’s degree in English Language and Culture, and his research master’s in Language and Cognition at the University of Groningen. His previous research includes an eye-tracking study comparing processing of emotion between a first and second language, as well as an EEG study on the processing of accent-related stereotypes. Currently, he is a PhD candidate within prof. Merel Keijzers’ Vidi project, focusing specifically on older adults with Late Life Depression.
